From Festival Tents to In-House Roasting: The Udderly Nuts Story

We get asked all the time: “How did you guys come up with this madness?” The truth is, Udderly Nuts wasn't born in a corporate boardroom or a fancy food lab. It was born out of the desire to take our favorite staple spreads and turn it into a spoonable, craveworthy dessert.

We wanted something loud, fun, and udderly ridiculous. Here is exactly how we went from a wild kitchen experiment to the loaded jars hitting your doorstep today:

🎪 2021: The Festival Hustle

Before we had a real roof over our heads, we had a pop-up tent and a dream. In early 2021, we spent our weekends hauling heavy boxes of finished peanut butter jars (plus sample cups, spoons, etc...!) to every festival or pop up event within driving distance. People flocked to our product and were hooked from the first sample.  Lines continued to grow and grow and production increased.

🏬 2022: Opening the First Doors

Our house was completely overrun by peanut butter jars, lids, and boxes... so in 2022, we officially took the leap and opened our very first brick-and-mortar storefront. It gave our community a permanent home to come satisfy their cravings, see our weekly flavor experiments, and pick up their jars fresh off the line.  It also gave us a dedicated space to manufacture our products in an FDA-inspected kitchen.

🚀 2024: Going Full-Time & Growing Fast

By 2024, the demand for our loaded nut butters got so intense that we officially went full-time. We couldn't make the jars fast enough! To keep up with the internet exploding over our flavors, we executed a massive store expansion, moving into a 16,000 square foot space on the Butler square.  Now, this space serves as our manufacturing hub and fulfillment center, as well as our ice cream shop, pizza place, and kids play place!

🥜 2026: The Ultimate Upgrade—In-House Roasting!

This year, we officially hit our biggest milestone yet. To achieve the absolute perfect, rich flavor profile for our bases, we brought roasting completely in-house. Instead of sourcing pre-roasted nuts, we now roast every single peanut ourselves right under our own roof. This lets us capture the perfect flavor and manage quality control from start to finish.

We've come a long way from the chaotic festival tents of 2021, but our mission hasn't changed a bit: we're here to keep nut butter fun, loaded, and constantly evolving. Thank you for being a part of our journey!
